IG for a natural & sustainable habitat
The association IGNA is committed to a near-natural and sustainable habitat in the canton of Glarus.
Promote, create and preserve habitats for native flora and fauna in settlement areas and cultural landscapes, thereby improving the quality of life for people at the same time.
To provide a platform for networking knowledge and people in the fields of biodiversity, natural gardening, circular economy and sustainability.
With the help of showcase objects, public relations work and other types of knowledge transfer, to make cycles and interrelationships in nature and gardens visible to interested parties, as well as to raise awareness of problems and approaches to solutions.

In addition to the permaculture project in Wiesli, the IGNA is also responsible for the urban greening in the Glarus city center, the implementation of the Grow Up Day as well as the Neophyte Day in cooperation with the municipality of Glarus.
In addition, other projects such as a meadow orchard in Engi are already being implemented.
