How long does it take to get to Trapist1 on a skateboard?

exoplanet.wtf is a small fun project with a slight taste of seriousness at the end.

On this web application you can see the distance to certain Exoplanets when taking various rides, like a Skateboard or the Juno Space Probe (the fastest human object) or …… the Titanic.

The resulting numbers are beyond comprehension and quite absurd.

The idea emerged when reading climate skeptic comments on the web and the statement that «Leaving earth is our only chance». So I tried to get by with a simple way so see how absurd these kinds of sentences are considering our human capabilities.

And it also presented an opportunity to design something Space & Sci-Fi related which I can't get enough of :)
