The golden age of Swiss tourist posters is, of course, long past. But with the arbitrariness of AI and the fast-paced nature of social media, the need for classic visual forms of expression and memories of wonderful vacations has once again become apparent.

Pontresina Tourismus commissioned me to design a tourist poster. It shows Piz Palü as seen from Alp Languard.
Pontresina is one of the original sites where Swiss ibex colonies were reintroduced after they had been completely wiped out in the last century. Today, it is impossible to imagine Pontresina without ibex. The poster pays tribute to this fact.
